The Long Mile Hack Pitch Night is the final showcase of ideas following the hard work that each team has completed, attempting to solve some of the most pressing challenges facing the City of Nedlands. With 10 teams competing to reach the podium, as a recognition of their diligent work. As well as competing for amazing prizes and the opportunity to further progress their tangible idea applications through full ride CERI scholarships for 2022.
The esteemed judging panel for the evening will feature CERI’s founder and chairman Charlie Bass, Deputy Premier and Minister for Health, Hon Roger Cook, Nicole Lockwood from Malka Foundation and Infrastructure WA. Rounding out the panel is Vicki Lummer, WA president for the Planning Institute of Australia, Richard Blythe the VC of Humanities at Curtin University, as well as Bill Parker, CEO of the City of Nedlands.
